When a bump window ends, your regular monthly renewals restart. You can opt out of automatic bumps per device, at checkout or any time later. Once an opted-out device uses up its backup allowance, it loses backup connectivity for the rest of the month.

Common Questions
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime — changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
What if I exceed my backup hours?
We auto-bump you to the next connectivity tier so your device stays online. You're charged the monthly rate of that upgraded tier for 30 days, then drop back to your original plan. You can opt out of auto-upgrade at any time.
Does my original plan resume after the bump?
Yes. After the 30-day bump, you return to your original plan on its original end date — the bump doesn't extend or restart your term. Example: on a 12-month WiFi plan, if you exceed backup hours 3 months in, you pay the monthly WiFi + Cellular rate for those 30 days, then continue your WiFi plan for the remaining 8 months.
Do I get a refund for the time I miss on my original plan?
No — the unused portion during the bump isn't refunded or credited. Because of this, it's worth picking the plan that matches how you'll actually use your device. If WiFi outages are frequent at your site, the Cellular plan is usually cheaper long-term than staying on WiFi and getting bumped.
What happens if I opt out of bumps?
If you opt out of automatic bumps and then exceed your allotted backup time (12hrs), your device will disconnect until an included connectivity method becomes available again. During that period you won't receive data updates or alerts, and you won't be able to reach the device to apply actions. Opt-out is a good fit if you'd rather have a temporary gap in service than an automatic charge — just make sure your device is in a spot you can physically check on if needed.
Do I need the Advanced tier?
Standard is best for most users. Go Advanced if you need phone call alerts, more Add-Ons, API access, or automations. Advanced applies to your whole account and is billed at $5/mo for each device on it.
Is there a contract?
Monthly has zero commitment. Annual and 3-Year are prepaid at a discount. All plans include a 30-day risk-free guarantee.
How does satellite connectivity work?
The Satellite plan requires a Canaro Hub Pro with an external satellite antenna. It includes regular data updates every 6hrs plus up to 200 alerts & instant updates per month while on satellite. WiFi and cellular are unlimited. Overages on satellite are $5 per 25 instant updates or alerts over the limit.
