5. Service Area and Coverage

5.1 Geographic Coverage

Canaro devices are designed to operate in areas with cellular coverage from our supported networks:

  • United States: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Alaska Wireless
  • Mexico: AT&T, Telcel
  • International: Coverage available in 100+ countries (see website for details)

Devices automatically connect to available cellular networks (LTE with 3G fallback) in your area.

5.2 Coverage Limitations

Service requires adequate cellular signal from supported carriers. You acknowledge that cellular signal strength may fluctuate due to factors beyond our control.

Important: We are unable to provide refunds or cancel remaining subscription terms for coverage issues that arise after the initial 30-day period due to changing environmental conditions (e.g., seasonal foliage) or carrier network changes.

6. Payment Terms

6.2 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term (monthly, annual, or 3-year) at the then-current price of your plan, or of a plan change you scheduled, charged to the payment method on file.

  • For annual and 3-year terms we send renewal reminders 30 and 14 days before renewal, stating the date and amount.
  • You can pause renewal at any time from your dashboard. Service continues to the end of the paid term and then stops; stored data is handled per Section 6.3.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we retry for up to 7 days and notify you. If it cannot be collected, service ends and Section 6.3 applies.
  • A device paused from your dashboard is never renewed while paused. Unpausing after its term has ended renews it at that moment.

6.3 End of Service and Data Retention

When a device's service plan ends (expiry without renewal, cancellation, or non-payment), the device stops storing new readings and its paid network connections are suspended.

  • If your account has other active paid services, the device's stored history is retained under your account's normal retention terms.
  • Otherwise, we retain the device's stored history for 90 days from the end of service. We will notify you by email before any deletion and provide a way to export your data.
  • Renewing service at any time before deletion preserves your data and resumes service.
  • Aggregate billing and usage records are retained as required for accounting purposes.

Pausing a device through your dashboard is not an end of service and does not affect stored data.
